Farlow Labrador Retrievers is a small family owned silver lab breeder located in Sophia, North Carolina. This is a Daddy/Daughter adventure because we are the dog lovers in the family! We adore all colors of the lab breed but truly fell in love with the silver variety. At Farlow Silver Labradors we pride ourselves in making the best breeding decisions for our labs and future puppy parents. Whether your next puppy is for hunting, a family pet, or companionship, we will try our best to give you the very best in the Silver Lab bloodline. We’d love to hear from you!

“In 1987 we conducted an inquiry into the breeding of the litters that contained the dogs that were registered as silver and one of our representatives was sent to observe several of the dogs that had been registered as silver. Color photographs of these dogs were forwarded to the office of the American Kennel Club where the staff of the AKC and the representative of the Labrador Retriever Club of America examined them.
Both parties were satisfied that there was no reason to doubt that the dogs were purebred Labrador Retrievers, however both parties felt that the dogs were incorrectly registered as silver. Since the breed standard describes chocolate as ranging in shade from Sedge to Chocolate, it was felt that the dogs could more accurately be described as chocolate than as silver. ” — Robert Young of the AKC March 27th, 2000

PICK OF THE LITTER
Pick of the litter means you get to make the first pick. We like to wait one month after puppies are born so you can see further development of the puppy before choosing. This price includes full AKC registration. All puppies will have their first shots, vaccinations, and wormings. We will give you a packet containing all health records. Please note your puppy will be ready for pick up after seven (7) weeks and we will notify you ahead of time so that you can make arrangements to do so.

MALE OR FEMALE SILVER LAB
All puppies will have their first shots, vaccinations, and wormings. This price includes full AKC registration. We will give you a packet containing all health records. Please note your puppy will be ready for pick up after seven (7) weeks and we will notify you ahead of time so that you can make arrangements to do so. All puppies will have color coated collars that they will wear while with us. The color system is how we decipher chosen puppies and avoids confusion during day of pick up.
